Coverage of the Great Patriotic War in the Works of the Expert Community of Kyrgyzstan (1991–2025)

Abstract
The article examines the main themes related to WWII, such as the recognition of the merits of soldiers who showed courage and bravery during the war, the military merits of Kyrgyzstani soldiers, the controversy over the '28 Panfilovs,' and archival documents of the Central State Archive of the Kyrgyz Republic. It emphasizes that despite the financial difficulties of the post-Soviet period, historians of Kyrgyzstan continue to conduct research in this direction.
