Paper Writing and Submission Guidelines

Complete guidelines for manuscript preparation and submission

1. Manuscript File Formats

The main manuscript file should generally be submitted in the following formats:

Format Recommendation Notes
Word Document DOCX (Microsoft Word) or DOC It is generally required to submit a single file containing the main text, tables, and reference list.
LaTeX ZIP file containing compressed files and a PDF file If the manuscript is written in LaTeX, the final PDF must be submitted along with the source file(s) (.tex).
PDF Permitted for initial submission Since PDF is difficult to use for final editing, the original Word or LaTeX file will be required during the editing/proofing stage.

2. Manuscript Structure (IMRAD Framework)

Title Page

  • Title of the paper
  • Author(s) names and affiliations
  • Corresponding author's contact information

Abstract

150-250 words summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.

Keywords

5-7 keywords that reflect the main topics of the manuscript.

Introduction

Background information, research problem, and objectives.

Materials and Methods

Detailed description of research methodology.

Results

Presentation of findings with supporting data.

Discussion

Interpretation of results and their significance.

Conclusion

Summary of main findings and their implications.

Acknowledgments

Recognition of funding sources and contributors.

References

Complete list of cited sources.

3. Font and Format Settings

Margins 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
Page Numbers Bottom right corner
Language English (American or British spelling consistently)

4. References (APA 7th Edition)

All references should follow APA 7th Edition style:

Journal Article

Author, A. A. (Year). Title of article. Title of Journal, Volume(Issue), pages. https://doi.org/xxxxx

Book

Author, A. A. (Year). Title of work. Publisher.

Book Chapter

Author, A. A. (Year). Title of chapter. In E. E. Editor (Ed.), Title of book (pp. xx-xx). Publisher.

5. Illustrations and Tables

Figures

  • Resolution: minimum 300 dpi
  • Format: TIFF, EPS, or high-quality JPEG/PNG
  • Submit as separate files or embedded in the manuscript
  • Include figure captions at the end of the manuscript

Tables

  • Create using Word's table function (not images)
  • Number consecutively (Table 1, Table 2, etc.)
  • Include descriptive titles above each table
  • Place at the end of the manuscript or embed in text

6. Research Ethics

  • Originality: All submissions must be original work not previously published.
  • Plagiarism: Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism. Any form of plagiarism is unacceptable.
  • Authorship: All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the work.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Data Availability: Authors should be prepared to provide raw data upon request.

7. Electronic Submission (E-Submission)

Submit your manuscript via email to:

  • Cover letter with author information
  • Copyright transfer form (if applicable)
  • Supplementary materials (if any)
