Symbols of Animal in Oriental Culture

Abstract

The main actuality of this article is that symbols of animal have not been studied comparatively in oriental lingua - cultural aspects. The main purpose of the article is to study symbols of animal as well as their origin and historical and cultural value. Spirituals, beliefs, and the specific fauna of the area where people of Orient live, have resulted to various animals become totem or national symbol. This paper examines the animal symbols, which is considered as totem and sacred, worshiped, as well as has special place in the household of Oriental culture.
