Although Şefkat, who is predicted to be born in the middle of 18th century, is the author of “Divançe, Siyer-i Nebevi and Hadikatü’l-vüzera Zeyli,” he is rather known as a biography writer. There is too little information about Şefkat’s life, who is the writer of the last anthological biography in our literature. This article aims to introduce the story of Şefkat’s life and poems registered to Şefkat in miscellanies to the science world.
