On the Variability of Texts as Seen in Bektashi Nefes

Abstract
The religious hymns as preserved by the members of the Bektashi community in Thrace are interwoven with the folklore tradition and the local dialect belonging to that area. Three hymns were chosen to demonstrate this statement. Each of them has numerous variants just like folksongs have anywhere around the world.
