Abstract
There is another plural suffix, +la /+le, which phonetically and structurally resembles the plural suffix +lAr and which has been interpreted in various forms by the turcologists since it has only encountered in Dįvānu Lugāti’t-Turk until the present day. In this study, another work of art written again in Karahanli Turkic will be put forth as a proof and these examples will be supported with the Eastern and Western Turkic dialects. In his work XI. Yüzyıl Türk Şiiri (Ankara 1989), Talat Tekin evaluated the suffixes added to ış, aş and kış nouns as plural suffix +la and dative suffix +ka and explained them in this way. In the notes part of his book Tekin, discusses these suggestions by stating “Since such a suffix is not encountered anywhere else, various suggestions are made in the explanation of these words”
